Recording Tips

bullet The goal of the recording session is to capture an “Audio Image” of you. A relaxed, conversational and confident reflection of what is uniquely you…
bullet Long after listening to your presentation, the listener may not remember what was said as much as they remember how it was said.
bulletConnect on a “Human Level”. Keep the focus on conveying trust, genuineness, caring, accessibility, experience, knowledge and a passion for what you do.
bulletSpeaking in a conversational tone of voice, putting some SMILE in your voice and gesturing with your hands may help as a reminder that crossing all the “T’s” and dotting all the “I’s” is not as important as the impression you leave with the listener.
bulletSlow down a bit so the listener has an opportunity to hear and understand what you are saying.  It may help to think of telling a story to a child and accenting the highlights, without being condescending to the listener.
bulletUsing contractions can help to establish a more conversational style.
bulletAdlib a little and vary the tempo at which you speak as in impromptu conversation.
bulletAttitude is everything
